Summary: Goku and Skyler seek answers and find trouble instead.

Gojyo got to the scene as quickly as he could, as soon as he had the coordinates from Lelouch. It had taken him a good twenty minutes to run from where he'd been to very close to the site. He paused to catch his breath and try to take in the scene, hoping that Goku hadn't heard him coming. He needed to find the little monkey, the one whose name he'd forgotten, and try to save the kid, at least.

There. He saw the tail. Monkey 2 was alive. Gojyo stepped out from his cover, taking a deep breath and extending his Shakujo. Now to worry about Monkey 1. This... was going to hurt.

"Please run, kid. I don't think I can protect you very long." His eyes didn't leave Goku even as he spoke to Skyler. "I'm here now. I'll do what I can. Seeds or not. Dying won't do anything except make him feel very, very guilty when we've got him back to normal."

He raised his voice. "Goku. I hope there's just a bit of you left..."

Goku's ears perked up. He turned, slowly, picking up the soft conversation behind him. Eyes focused in on a head of red hair, and a grin crept across his face.

As soon as he was spoken to directly, he leapt. The jump was much too far for anyone who was normal, but obviously he was far from being that. He landed somewhat gracefully on his feet in front of Gojyo, almost like a cat, and knelt into a crouch. Smiling that awful smile, he brought one clawed hand up incredibly fast, the blow aimed for Gojyo's chest.

Skyler was about to argue the point with Gojyo when Goku attacked the redhead. He couldn't get there in time. opefully Gojyo could block or...anything. This was why he couldn't leave. The monster Goku had become seemed to be almost completely unaware he existed, interested in stronger, larger targets with the exception of when he'd covered his eyes.

Slowly Skyler moved towards his PCD to contact Lelouch.

He couldn't gut even just a little bit lucky. Of course not. Though he'd already been pretty much certain that Goku wasn't himself at all, he'd held onto a tiny bit of hope. Gojyo raised the staff of his Shakujo to block, flicking the chain and sending the crescent around in a loop in an attempt to get the monkey while the monkey got him ( ... )
