Kamui turned his head almost instantly upon sensing movement. That was one thing which never seemed to diminish ability wise in him in fact he often mused that on his death bed he'd still probably notice something moving a large distance away. Still this was probably not the best time to be thinking about death related ideas even if they were good humored and from his own thoughts ( ... )

If Kamui noticed that there was something bothering Rosalie he chose not to mention it. He merely nodded back as his gaze wandered for a few moments.

His attention slowly returned to Rosalie when he noticed that she was looking away. Without really noticing himself he titled his head in interest. The vampire took note of the look she had on her face before he looked up at the ceiling in thought. "Might...that means there's a chance..." Slowly he looked back at the other vampire, "What did you have in mind exactly?"

At least if he knew what to expect he could try to determine whether it would help or end up killing him in some way. As much as he wanted a quick solution he wasn't going to jump straight into the first idea if it could make things worse.

"There is one, it saved my life once, but I don't have a clue if it can possibly work on you, Kamui.", she told him honestly without further hesitating. There was no use to it anyway. "The answer lies within myself."
Rosalie glanced back at him and looked into his eyes for a rather long moment, sorting the words in her head. Maybe he would think that she'd totally lost her mind, but that did not matter now. It was his life that did.

"It is what turned me into a vampire. You see ... I don't know how you turned Fai, but my kind is turned by being bitten." She chuckled softly. "It sounds like old folklore but it's true. Our kind of vampires are born when something is injected into a human vein, while drinking from it. All of our bodily fluids were turned into venom when we made the change, the same liquid that turned our bodies in the first place. The procedure is actually really painful, but it is the ultimate cure ( ... )

Kamui listened to the idea, and indeed the story about Rosalie's past, with full attention. He nodded every so often in a very absent manner, eventually raising a hand to his lips in thought ( ... )

Rose suddenly looked startled. She had not awaited such a reaction to be honest and there were only to reasons for Kamui to give in to this kind of idea - he was either totally insane or - which seemeed to be more likely - terrified and hunted by death.

"Are you ... really sure about this?" She held his glance for a while. Maybe she was even more worried about the method failing than he was. But why?
Oh, right. She could not stand the thought of loosing another person close to her, even if his death here would not be eternal, but who can be sure of what would happen then? He had come to Adstrigendum and had already been in a horrible state, so it was almost likely that he would stay in this state, suffering again, after he awakened again.

She had to try she knew, but still Rosalie couldn't force her eyes to leave his, stuck with worry and her own kind of terror hunting her.

Kamui nodded slowly. He wasn't completely sure but this was really the only choice which had a chance of working. Working fast. Working completely. He couldn't afford to die here even if he'd return from the death, they'd said about losing important things in death and there was a high chance that his price would be Subaru.

The vampire nodded again more firmly as though to reassure himself of the decision. "I want to try it." His gaze travelled until it focused on a point on the floor. "If there is a chance of it working I want to take it."

His tone became thoughtful as he continued, "It might not work. It might make things worse. There's the chance though that it'll solve everything. I want to live, for myself and for Subaru, I can't do that if I don't get this cured." He trailed off for a few moments, absently picking at his trousers, "It will be painful either way. I still want to try this though."

"Okay.", she told him, nodding. "I hope it won't hurt two much ... you've gone through enough in your life yet.", she said absentmindedly, almost talking to herself in a very low voice.

She had to admit it, she feared the moment when her teeth would meet his skin, penetrate it and hurt him. But the fear of loosing him was stronger, Rosalie realized, when she bent over to him, hugging him carefully as if he would burst in the very instant she touched him.

As she opened her mouth though, she didn't do it to sink the sharp razors within her mouth into his neck. "Are you ... ready, Kamui? I'll be careful.", she ensured him and meant it totally. Rose could not avoid imagining how his blood would taste and if it would make a change to her system as well. Was it to late to worry about such things? Yes, maybe it was.

Kamui made a small noise in thought before actually choosing to say anything. "I'm expecting some type of pain. I doubt it'll be too much though." To some degree he was hoping for pain, a type which signalled it either fusing with the poison or destroying it somehow. If things went the way he hoped then it would simply be a matter of coping while it was forced out of the system.

He made a small noise at the hug, one caught between surprise and being uncomfortable. Still he didn't comment upon it, just lifted one hand to rest on her back in a comforting manner. Even if he couldn't remember it he knew that he had been close to this vampire before and he could understand how much worry could be created at the thought of losing someone twice.

He nodded slowly with a small sigh. "I'm ready..." He paused before tilting his head away slightly allowing for better access to his neck. "Try not to drink if you can help it."

Hoping for everthing to turn out okay, Rosalie sank her teeth into Kamui's neck. They went through it like a knife through warm butter. She concentrated on injecting the venom as fast as she could, trying to keep herself from sucking his blood on reflex ( ... )

Kamui hissed sharply out of reflex than actual pain as fangs went into his neck. In his culture this would surely have fallen into the taboo area of actions, 'feeding' off another vampire. Still he held no immediate regrets for asking for this to happen. He simply stared onwards and tried to ignore what was happening.

He swallowed thickly as Rosalie moved away slightly. He didn't feel anything initially changing as he let the female vampire dress his wound, it was a given that his feeling was still slower than it's normally instantaneous speed. Then again that was probably the least of his worries right now.

His eyes were by now a dull golden, gaze growing more distant as the moments went by. He didn't feel any pain at that time, just a tiredness and sickness. Eventually the pain started to kick in, running through his blood across his body. Kamui tried not to let the pain show across his face although he could not stop the general look of sickness which was spreading.

One thing was clear...he wasn't changing.

"Kamui...", Rosalie sure sounded as worried as she felt. Had it been a mistake to make this offer? It was no surprise that was hurting him but ... what if he died because of it?
She wouldn't want that to happen. But what was it that she could still do for him after the venom had spread within him.

Nothing, she knew. It's already too late.

Rose tried to stay calm, although she knew that this pain wouldn't stop and she was really helpless. The panik rose within her and she bent over to him again. "Kamui! What's ... wrong with you?" Could he even hear her. All she remembered from her change was blackness and silence and the burning pain, that seemed to kill her.

Kamui kept his eyes closed as he bent over slightly, mind concentrating more on keeping his breathing steady. He was barely aware that Rosalie was even speaking to him, the words seeming nothing more than muffled sound.

Even without the clear sound he could still sense where the other was standing. Absently he reached out an arm to Rosalie, keeping his head low as a wave of sickness seemed to rush over him.

"...Don't move." His voice sounded slightly broken as though he was having trouble getting the words out.
