Summary: Sanzo has fallen victim to the earthquake. Goku's not too happy about it.

Sanzo hadn't stirred in the twenty minutes since Gojyo and Goku had brought him in. But...

There was some movement and then he started coughing again. The priest attempted to sit up as he coughed, his face etched with pain. There was obviously something wrong with his ribs.

He then turned his violet eyes to look at Goku. "You stupid monkey, I told you to go." he wheezed.

The coughing startled Goku, and his head jerked up. "Sanzo!" He jumped to his feet. "No, don't sit up, you need to lie down!"

He winced under the somewhat intense look. "...I'm not leaving. Not now. Not ever."

[swearinpriest]

He raised his hand, that infamous fan in it, and whacked Goku hard. He cried out in pain, dropping the fan. He doubled over, one hand going to his chest. He took a few deep breaths, but that caused him pain.

Sanzo whimpered. "Goku... I'm sorry." he whispered before his eyes closed and he slumped, falling unconcious.

The fan thwack took him by surprise. "OW! Sanzo, what the--"

He froze. The cry caused his chest to tighten. He watched as Sanzo clutched his chest, obviously in pain, and his eyes went wide. His muscles finally heeded his pleas to work as Sanzo began to slump, and Goku jumped forward, catching the priest in his arms. "Sanzo! Sanzo!!"
