Summary: Tsuzuki finally gets to see someone familiar! ...And has to introduce everything to Hisoka, hopefully without too much complications.

For once in his life, he was thankful for being an empath. Who knows how long it would have taken to find the idiot without the constant chatter on the edge of his perception. The headache it was causing made it a little distracting to fly, but it was faster this way.

Hisoka opted to ignore his surroundings until getting an explanation from Tsuzuki, weaving through the torn-up streets and making himself ignore the fact that it looked almost exactly like a normal city - only as a twilight of its existence. The streets were deserted, and there were only murmurs in the back of his mind rather than the constant white noise he was used to. Though it helped in finding Tsuzuki, he couldn't help but wonder:

Where was everyone?

It didn't take him long to spot his friend coming towards him, and he turned, hands fisted in his jacket pockets. He smiled, beaming at him as he strode forward, looking at his shorter partner. "Hisokaaa!" Tsuzuki called happily with a wave.

But something about Hisoka's expression made him pause. "...Hisoka, what's wrong?" he asked. "You look upset or something." Blinking, he paused. "Hello?"

Lost in thoughts, both his and his own, it took Hisoka a moment to realize that that confusion tinted 'Tsuzuki' was actually directed at him. He touched down to the ground and continued the smaller distance on foot. He'd save the barrage of questions to answer in a minute. "--Tsuzuki. There you are."

Blinking curiously down at his partner, he tilted his head. "Eh, what's wrong? Aren't you glad to see me?" In all likelihood, he could say 'no', but the cheerful Shinigami didn't think so.
