As he was on his way out, Shikamaru didn't have any unusual luck or run into anymore amnesiac versions of other people. Good thing that the PCDs came with maps--it made finding people and places quick and efficient. Recalling how that pink-haired girl's duplicate, Blood, was so fascinated with the little computer, he wondered what kind of technologies they lacked wherever those copies were coming from.

But anyway, that'd be up for discussion. As far as he was concerned, Lockon, Naruto, and the one known as Ginia had disappeared, only to return without necessarily having any memories. Or, these memories were somehow buried. Seemed that the same thing happened to Tails as well.

Finally arriving at the other's workshop, he knocked a couple times before waiting outside. The days really were getting cooler, weren't they? Such a pain--looked like he'd need to scrounge around for some better clothing or else he'd freeze to death if the temperature continued to drop.

As a fox, Tails didn't have to worry too muchh about the cold, but that didn't mean he didn't know a cold night when he felt it. So when he heard the knock he quickly answered. "Hi! Shikamaru right? Come on in."

Despite his usual countenance, Shikamaru was no slacker heading inside. "Yeah. Thanks--Miles, right?" After having met Skyler, he didn't feel particularly surprised that Miles was a two-tailed fox. One that could talk, even. "How've ya been doin?"

After all, they'd planned on meeting before, but clearly that didn't work out, for just as soon as they'd barely met each other on the PCDs, Tails disappeared a short while afterward. "Been a while since we'd written and stuff, but ya remember bein here 'n stuff?"

"You can call me Tails. Just about everyone does," the fox replied cheerfully. "I'm adjusting alright, this is a weird place though. I'm remembering a little, but not much."

He closed the door, following Shikamaru in. "Do you want a blanket to warm up a bit? I think we have some hot chocolate too."
