I'm so sad about Egypt condition now. They reminds me of Indonesia 13 years ago. Why revolution always took lifes? I was 13 at that time and one of my family died.

Hopes everything will be okay soon.

Oh yes, same with me. After Tunisia I was already asking myself "who's next" and now in Egypt this revolution is taking such horrible dimensions. I always feel sorry for the civilians whose lives are taken because of this :(, but revolutions are rarely peaceful. When people go out on the streets in masses like that this means for me that their life there really must have felt like such a burden to them that they saw no other way out anymore. There was a photo of a boy holding up a sign that said something like "it's better to die for something than to live for nothing" (these were not exactly the words, but the message was something like that). I hope that in the end this revolution will at least be successful - meaning, bring out a country in which the people can live their lives for "something" and not for "nothing".

i heard from a malaysian friend that her friends who are currently studying in Al Azhar University are given 6 months to 1 year leave to go home and wait until the condition gets better. an egyptian who is in the same program as me, said that handphones is already working again. internet is still not on though (this was talks from 2 days ago, and i have not met him again, so there might be changes).

i hope conditions doesn't get worse in egypt.

indonesian revolution back in 1998? it's really sad to lose a family that way. *hugs miku* ... a lot of my chinese friends lost their everything and fled outside the country. i won't blame them though.

Oh, dear, I'm sorry to hear one of your family died..

This is why I hate human. They took life easily as if it was nothing but their own death.
How I felt the same when hyde cried singing "Hoshizora".
