As far as national anthems go, I've always had a soft spot for the Star Spangled Banner. Of course, being a sports fan, I've heard it quite a lot over the years, heck I even know the words to it. But as far as I'm concerned, no one has ever performed it as well as Jimi Hendrix. Jimi's crunchy guitar just makes the Star Spangled Banner sound even

And yes, being set to the tune of an English drinking song, it has way more kick than stodgy old Oh Canada. I gotta agree, I love the SSB.
