Had I seen this in time I would've urged you to go... while I'm not as big into his fantasy stuff as you( love martin for his wild card series)... I thought it was great to see him at worldcon a couple of years ago and bask in his presence as a bunch of people asked him about the game of thrones series... and I asked him one or two questions about wild cards...

Nope, I didn't. I stopped by, it was a zoo like I expected, so I went skating instead. Much more peaceful.

I'm hoping he does come back when the next book is out, and that I'll have a little more advanced warning then.
