Haha, I haven't been able to resist either. I'm just worried about the short time the authors have to write their piece because I'm such a slow writer (and I have unfortunately no art skill to offer, sniff.)

How long do you guys have to turn in the first draft? I know we have to send out something up to the end of September... have no idea about the rest of the deadlines.

If my memory serves, art is claimed on September 27, and posting begins on October 25... It's feasible, I've written more than 5,000 words in less than a month, but I generally like to have a little bit more time to feel comfortable.

You can totally pull it off! Besides, I'm sure that, of all the art that's gonna be posted, at least one will inspire you with an idea. And once those get inside your brain... dude, there's no stopping them!

Yes! I can' wait to see what people come up with. This time, instead of manipulating photos, I'm gonna try my hand at drawings :)

Even better. Original artworks are a real challenge. I suck at portraits myself, so would probably have to cheat with photos as bases anyway!

I think I have to go 'back to school'. Once upon a time, I could do some very kickass portraits. Now? I'm way out of pratice...
