OH, I desperately love this. Dean has such a busted up self image that I think it would be hard for him to believe anyone valued him or remembered him fondly.

Lovely outsider POV. I like how it was tied up to "Devil's Trap" and what Dean said about wanting to be a fireman when he was a kid.

You just took that scene and made a full story about weeDean. Loved the orange related with home and the flames, and how he wanted to be a fireman. Your description of Dean being quiet for a 6 year old boy and caring for the others even if they were his age, and that bright smile to John. Thanks to share. *hugs*
