I need an intervention

Someone needs to talk me out of dressing up as Maes Hughes for Halloween. I know my mum would help me with the costume just because it would get me to the house. So someone stage an intervention to talk me out of it, because the fact that no one at work would get the costume is just encouraging me. I need help.

...If I dressed like Roy, would that help you? Damn, I need the materials, plus a knowledge of sewing, neither of which I have. Funny, I could silkscreen my own FMA t-shirt because I was taught how to do in high school, but sewing?

Naw, Mum already said it wouldn't be possible to do in five weeks. I am however considering it for the con next year.

She may however require me to get my hair cut as a payment. I thought she would get over hating my hair when she didn't have it to clean up, but nope she still holds a grudge about it.
