They're good for the genre. Honestly, I've spent so much time reading things like Tolstoy for school this year that I entirely welcome the 'trashy teen fluff'.
But no, they're good. It's possibly one of my favorite takes on vampires in lit today- what with it being mostly populated by angsty sparkly impostors.
