If James and D'arcy don't come back then it's not the Smashing Pumpkins. I like Melissa but it wasn't the same, just likek when Jimmy wasn't there, just not the same. And this scares me. I don't wan it to be horrible. I love them too much for that.

I'd be happy with Melissa, because D'arcy, according to Billy, was just a drug-addicted pain in the neck who didn't help with the band except to tell him when the songs were crap.

I tend to disagree with him, whether it's being nice or naive or whatever, and pray for D'arcy to come back. She was the original bassist and I just love her personality. Fits very well with the rest of them, I think. I'd miss her terribly if she doesn't join.

However, I LVOE LOVE LOVE MAdM. So I can handle her being there in D'arcy's absence.

James is another story :(
