I was wondering why everyone here has love for D'arcy. I would like to hear stories of why or reasons why you like her and the first time you saw her and what you thought. And if any of you ever saw The Pumpkins live or possible met them. Also, i would like everyone to post a favorite picture of D'arcy/The Band/Or both.

She was part of the reason i got into bass as much as i did. not to mention shes really cute, and i love her general attitude and the stories about her.

She was gorgeous in the "Tonight, Tonight" video. That was the time I discovered them. I caught the video half way, and at the end when they showed the credits I was like, "Ooohhh they're The Smashing Pumpkins..." I also thought she was funny in the Vieuphoria skit.

When i saw the "Today" video i was like this band is good then "Disarm came and i was like i need this CD then "Rocket" came and i completely fell in love with them and i saw this beautiful platinum blonde, pale skin, red lipstick woman and i just thought she was the most beautiful, gorgeous thing ever. Then i found out how sarcastic and dry humored she is and how she doesn't take any shit and tells it how it is. All that just made me like her more. I've always been into music but she was the first musician that made me really pay attention to the bass guitar. I've played bass ever since then.
I love this band for many reasons but most of all for them being their when i was a teenager. I needed something to hold on to and to look up to and The Pumpkins did that for me.
I've never met any of them but i've seen them live twice.
As for pictures, i have way too many favorites. Maybe when i narrow them down to just a few i will post them.
