My Grandma died. My Dad's mom. She died in her sleep, sometime this past week. They think Thursday night. Unfortunatly, she wasn't found until yesterday morning. Her funeral is going to be Wednesday morning.

Yeah, it's going to be a Merry Christmas for the Stanley Clan this year.

Thank you. It was really sudden, she hadn't been sick or anything, so we're all quite surprised. She'd want us to go on and have a good Christmas so that's what we're trying to do.

Just try to be grateful of how sudden it was. Sounds to me like she didn't suffer at all.I know that doesn't make it not hurt, but it might make it sting a little less if you can concetrate on that.

Yesterday my sister was saying how she takes comfort in that. I think we all do. It must be nice to go to sleep, wake up and see your husband who has been dead for over thirty years.

that's so sad. i'm sorry. my holidays are bittersweet as well; my dad died on xmas day in 2004. :(

Thank you. It's going to be hard but we'll get through it. It can be a tough holiday without things like these.
