I think the city trying to gain restitution from these two is awful. Yeah it's expensive to have to investigate a possible crime, but they didn't break any laws and being charged with "Breach of Peace" is just ridiculous. We are currently a paranoid culture (which is perfectly understandable given the circumstances) but it is really necessary to ( Read more... )

You know, I always wonder whether the people involved read this and think, "Man, I was stupid, why did I say that?"

But then again, you would think that the people put on reality shows or celebrities put into the media would curb their behavior after seeing how ridiculous they are.

I guess not.

I think public perspective is skewed. People are held accountable for inappropriate things. These people could be liable for thousands of dollars even though they broke no ACTUAL laws.... it's that whole Aqua Teen Hunger Force thing again.
