Basically relating working in a group for school to Communism... a number of people working towards a single goal, yet everyone will get the same grade regardless of the work/effort they individually put into the job. Due to the ineptitude of one of our group members, the entire group will likely get a D on this project. If we all were working individually, my efforts would be rewarded respective to their quality and the jack-ass' bungled efforts would be rewarded respective to their lack of quality and it wouldn't be effecting my grade.
I recognize it is not the best of analogies, but academic group work has always been the closest practical experience I have had to Communism in action. And I hate it. And I would have to argue that under Capitalism, regardless of who is the jerk and who is the nice guy, the one who can get the job done is rewarded.
