Ice Rink

It's started getting warm here in North Texas, so I activated the ice maker in the freezer.  I waited for it to cycle a couple of times and dumped it.  Then promptly forget about it.

Tonight I opened the freezer door to get something out for dinner and turned my kitchen floor into a skating rink.  Seems that the auto-shutoff, didn't.  The entire

I've done the same thing. I seldom use ice, so I have the ice maker turned off.

Needless to say mine is turned off as I've enough ice for two or three weeks and when I'm ready for more, I'll keep watch on the icemaker until it makes just enough for what I need.

Giggle... I hadn't read it that way until you pointed it out. Should have said something like "Round two" for dinner, but even that could have something read into it. :-P

Actually I ended up having Stouffers frozen lasagna for dinner after I cleaned up the ice spill.
