GAH! I'm reading LJ and all these people are already posting their fall schedules. I'm not ready for Fall TV, people!! I can't do it until I get some expert input. I've given up on the Fall Preview of TV Guide, but I have to have some critical input. Entertainment Weekly, or Matt Roush at tvguide.com, or something. Right now, my schedule

that is because all the hotness on tv is on the cw on thursdays @ 9p. the very large amount of hotness in that time slot creates a black hole in the hotness of television over all.

But I don't want feast on Thursdays and famine the rest of the honkin' week! I want the Roman feast of hotness, every dang day. And they also have to be able to act so as to occasionally be all emo and angsty. I want it aaaaaaaaaaall.
In other, less hot (though quirkily charming) news, this last week's Who? Awfully Satan Pit-y, wasn't it? But without the charming Ood.

Martha should've kept her yap a tick more shut, though. Way to spill the Time Lord beans, chica!

I've pretty much made all my decisions on shows to check out, but I have to read the EW preview before I make the final call. These are important choices!

And he's not been at ALL attractive in the ads. Plus the ads are Hokey McHokerson.

Yes and yes. Not really. Mostly I'm basing it on what I've seen already. I've seen the pilot for Pushing Daisies and I feel like it could go either way... but it's beautifully shot and it has potential. I've also seen Bionic Woman, and while I thought it needed work, it has good potential. Chuck is another pilot I saw... and enjoyed far more than any of the others in terms of funny and cute and just potential ridden if they do it right. I also saw Reaper and it can go fast either way. The pilot was a mite boring, but the story could be fun. (And in January, the one I'm most anticipating is The Sarah Connor Chronicles.)
Let's see, what else is new on my schedule? Journeyman isn't hyped in my world, but the promo just looked cool and I have space in that timeslot, so it'll get the ol' three episode try. Private Practice is because I love Kate Walsh and her prettiness... but I'll drop it ( ... )

At least I have the consolation that, if I DON'T start watching a show and it becomes the show everyone is in love with (as if that could happen any more) there are now scads of ways to catch up on things. I'm still thinking I should catch up on Friday Night Lights and Brothers and Sisters, and I've not managed either of those. I think it's a lost cause.

Seriously, you cannot beat that price, and the show is SO GOOD.

But yeah, appointment television may be kind of impossible for a while.
I think I knew that about The Nine. I'm just so used to not being able to watch things online any more (holdover from younger Declan stuff which isn't so much of an issue) that I think I mentally dismissed it.
I am kind of planning on tuning into Private Practice just because Tim Daly is in it. I'm not hugely happy about the prospect, however.

The only show that I'm really hoping doesn't suck is Life. I really like Damien Lewis, and the premise is fascinating. But it doesn't seem to have caught much fangirl attention. Pout.
