well, if a "good way" translates to "completely alienating a loyal fanbse", than sure! FTW! which, i realize, is not realistic, being that i am just an army of one at this point, but still...feeling completely gutted. and, not in a good way.

I don't get the reasoning behind it either but right now all I can think about is how crushing this is. I'm seriously upset.

Well, as you know and have said, look at Buffy and Angel. Everyone on Angel's team died in the end and he was left with Spike, Illyria and a dying Gunn.

I've just this minute finished watching Day 4 (Australia time Friday night) and it was another amazing chapter for Torchwood. However, I was mortified to see that indeed, Ianto died, and in Jack's arms, which was pretty sobworthy. I'm probably going into my own little world here but I want the poison to be an alien sort of stasis that mimics death and everyone will be okay. Is that too much to ask?

And here I was trying to buck you up, sweetie, believing that they wouldn't kill off one of the most interesting and amazing relationships ever.

I think a bottle...no bottles of wine are called for.

*hugs*
