Hee! I'm here after seeing the review over on cot_reviews. This is great silly fun! I loved everybody's in character reactions to the problem. There's a dose of seriousness too, with Owen being rather nasty (poor Tosh!) and Ianto sniffing Jack's pillow.

Maybe he had grossly over-estimated her managerial abilities.

Ha! I can just picture Ianto saying that line.

Nicely done!

I was just thinking this reminded me of "I have never" and realized it must be regional difference in game names when I got to this line: "This amusing little foray into a drinking game sans the drink had just taken a nasty turn." :) neat!

And of course Ianto would put recton in their coffee, they would drink it without a thought and Tosh would figure it out! perfect!

You manage to get the perfect balance between humour and sadness in this piece. Your series one Owen has exactly the right meanness, your Ianto is suitably sarcastic and this totally deserved to be nominated!
