Today I spent most of the day either walking or reading on a bluff line in IL. Supposedly my task was taking money from foolish people who wanted to chase little white balls around, but I got a very relaxing day reading walking and viewing nature. Ok, understand Curling is a old Scottish game where 8 people throw 44lb granite rocks down a 160 foot ice-sheet and use brooms to try and sweep a trail for the rock. It is a little like shuffle board on steroids. Apparently the Canadians take Curling very seriously, almost as seriously as Hockey. As I slowly finish todays work, I am horribly tempted to turn on Bravo and watch the last show in a reality series tonight even though I know I have to wait a least a week possibly two and watch it with scathach when I get back to Minneapolis. Well, that is how it feels here in Illinois. I am walking the dusty plains, and working in ruins. It is amazing what I find on my lunch break walks. Working here has been interesting, hard at times, but the work is not the biggest problem, the conditions at night are.
