It was great! They had these yellow umbrellas hanging from the catwalks that would raise and lower for sending messages to and from the Underworld, and the house of string was string tied to all the props onstage and then hooked to the central umbrella to make this lovely teepee-like thing.
And her father and the Lord of the Underworld were by far the best parts. But everyone was good! The Chorus of Stones was bizarre.
Real testament to the show, though: the guy I was sitting next to, a senior actor, was basically breaking down through the whole last half hour of a 75 minute show. I wanted to give him a hug. (I used up all of my public crying on Obama, I think.)
