Refa had been in the bar while Adira was with her friend, Kitty. Ten years in Centauri millitary intelligence had taught him never to walk into an unknown situation without scouting ahead.....especially since he could not bring his trusted royal guardsmen

Adira had known Refa was around, this was her turf more or less. When the waitress came to find her on the dance floor she smirked and thanked her before whispering to her friend to help watch for trouble

Refa saw her moving towards and suddenly felt an incredible feeling that could only be described as pure lust. Was it the black tightly formed dress, the beautiful face, the sight of her stockings.....if he didn't exert all his self control, he would have grabbed her and made love to her right there in the middle of the bar.

Refa kept repeating in his head to remain in control and calm the incredible attraction to this gorgeous girl. He almost forgot to offer her the chair opposite him. He smiled and replied

I'm glad to see that you decided not to stand me up. It would have been very long and boring drive back to the Centauri Embassy by myself.

Trying to act casual, Refa pulled out his chair and offered it to Adira. As she sat down, he caught a whiff of her sweet perfume and had to grip the chair more tightly to maintain his self control.

Adira took her seat when it was offered though his death grip on the chair was mildly amusing she hid it well behing a pleasant smile.

She takes her glass and raises it in toast though as he pauses her brow raises in curiosity. She assumed he wanted her to say something but she wasn't going to. She gives him an expectant look waiting for him to finish his toast.
