I am not sure what sort of sh!tstorm happened on veganpeople that the post was deleted, but I will post the challah recipe here for you.
In case you hadn't guessed, people who still eat animal products, or otherwise consume them are not well received on VP if they insist on calling themselves vegan. It is a long standing issue, mostly to do with the fact that we don't want the word "vegan" to be diluted (already there are "vegan" restaurants and products on the market that have honey and such in them... so it is a real concern for us). Unfortunately, many of the people there could use some better tact in explaining things!
