I think I'm finally on the verge of getting the Luke icon I've been wanting for so long. I found a good image and I played with it slightly. I don't want to do too much to it, and I can't think of a caption, and I also don't want to have a caption just for the heck of it ( Read more... )

I thought I was the only one who got annoyed by having an uneven number of icons at the bottom, but I don't have the heart to get rid of any of them. It's hard enough when I reshuffle to put new ones on.

I can't wait to see the Luke icon!!! I impulsively decided to drive 3 hours so I could spend Mother's Day with my mom at around 4:00, and I brought American Dreams with me. Hopefully I can watch some episodes while I'm here.

Have your parents seen S2 yet? I remember they were as excited as you were about the show.

I left a present for you at the simulwatch thread. It's small, but it's there.

My cousin stole S2 from them, since she started watching AmDr the last time I brought it home with me, and I forgot to tell you that now I got her hooked! She finished it and a couple of days ago, she sent me a text saying, "Is JJ ok???" Haha, I can't believe I forgot to tell you about my new convert. The roomie will watch it with me when she's home, but she hasn't seen every episode in order, so she always asks me questions in the middle of the episode, and I have to pause and explain. It's not that bad for this show, but you should've seen what it was like whe she first started watching Lost with me and I had to pause every 5 seconds to explain stuff. And she still hasn't seen S1 OR 2, so I forget that she doesn't catch all the references back to those episodes ( ... )

Okay, giant light bulb went off in my head. When you said Luke icon who do I naturally think of? And I was going "Weird, nieece is not generally a Luke fan more of a Jess fan." Till I start seeing the American Dreams post. Doh you mean the record guy Luke, Dontcha?

Auntie has a one track mind.

I was referring to Luke Foley. I'm impressed you picked up on it enough to know him as "the record guy"!

Also, strangely enough, I have two icons featuring Luke Danes. And none with Luke Foley, who is the Luke I prefer.

I used to watch American Dreams. I remember Milo on the show.
JJ played football. Had the girlfriend who got pregnant.
Civil Rights. etc.

I was talking to my dad today, and he wanted to talk about Virtual Gilmore. I have fallen behind, and he is sad that there is only one more to go. He wants to know if they are doing another season, and I said I would ask you. So, are they?

Icon-wise, I don't think I have ever seen you use the candles one, or the Captain and Maria dance one.

The SoM one I could eliminate. I haven't used that one in a very long time. Thanks for the vote!

We're still not sure if we're doing a season 9. Story-wise, we're all for it; production-wise we have some stuff to work out. So assume this is the end, and if we decide to continue, it'll be a fun surprise!
