Miss Cleo, our 18-year-old cat, appears to have had another stroke last night. She's been declining for about a week, and this morning was substantially worse, unable to control her back legs at all. Thanks. We only had her for the last four years of her life, but she lived BIG during those years.

She was an amazing brat, in all the best ways. And a world traveler--she loved Costa Rica. I suspect her ghost is already haunting the courtyard of the apartment in San Jose.

We just got back. She growled at the veterinarian like she always did, but she didn't have the strength--or heart, I think--to struggle. She rode to the vet inside my coat, though, so her final ride was warm and snuggly.
