But if you can't post your travel pictures on FB in real-time to taunt your friends, what is FB for? Hell, what is a beach vacation for other than making your friends jealous? *grin*

You're quite welcome.

We tell children and teens never to post their personal information on the internet, and then Google tells them to forget that as soon as they turn 18?

Good god, woman. Am I glad you're on the side of the angels.

I'm always amazed how many of my FB friends post about their absences - for some, that seems to be nearly the only status reports they ever make.

I've been known to do it, but I usually try to work in a subtle reference to how grateful I am that my cleaning lady comes to LIVE IN MY FLAT and take care of the cats in my absence.

Sometimes I think the only thing that keeps me from being a master criminal is that I can make more money legally. *grin* I think in the past that most halfway smart people could make more money legally--crime pays for shit, honestly--but with the current "recession" I'm not sure how long that's going to be true.

Last winter when we were in Costa Rica I'm pretty sure I mentioned that our handyman was living in our house and taking care of the cat. Anyone who tried to break in thinking the house was empty would have gotten an unpleasant surprise.
