is it better to double major or to single major with honors?

I think it's better to do what you want to do than to think you need a piece of paper with honors or two majors on it. You're such an amazing person with amazing ability, but you seem so bound by needing to accomplish something or to achieve something I'm not sure you see what (and perhaps who?) you really are.
That sounded kinda harsh. But seriously, I look up to you in most every way possible, simply because I find that you can do things and accomplish things and push yourself over obstacles that I can never tackle without the most serious of efforts. If there ever was a person who had a world-changing future, I cannot help but see you standing there.

And I completely sympathize with the morning person thing, my friend is a painter and it pisses me off that he can get up at 6 every morning to paint and I can hardly manage 9am.

If I never have the chance to prove what I can do because my resume isn't in line, then my potential makes no difference. However, you can gloat because my advisor chastized Brandeisians for "collecting majors" and told me to do whatever the heck I want.

And now I want to do yoga every morning AND go to a gym class at 7-freaking-thirty AM on a FRIDAY. I am clearly not in my right mind. So jealous of your painter friend :/

We are in complete agreement, my fellow fan! The New Pornographers were disgusting and Belle & Sebastian brought down the house. Thankfully their lead singer was screaming so incoherently and the guitar was so unnecessarily loud that I did not hear a thing. B&S > fingernails on chalkboard > The New Pornographers.

(I realise that you don't hate them that much, but I tend to project.)

Your comparison is pointless, as B&S > just about any noise ;)

Also, a joke for you: Did you hear about the emo pizza? It cuts itself.

HAHAHAHA I've heard the same one about grass, but phrased as an insult: "I wish my grass was as emo as you are so it would cut itself."
