I think it's awesome you went as a retro sheet ghost. It's the quintessential halloween costume that nobody wears (in my experience anyway).

The part about mutants was hilarious.

I know! One of my friends said she couldn't believe I'd actually gone and done it. However, now I cannot be it again and therefore must have a new back-up costume.

And the sad(?) thing is that it's true; Brandeis is full of mutants >.>
