Based off of what I'd heard about the movie focusing on Willy Wonka and his back-story, I thought that his name should have featured in the movie title, but after viewing the remake, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory suits the film much better because the actor playing Charlie was by far the best of them all. It should be called "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" because that's the title of the book it's based on.

That is true, however the original movie uses the name Willy Wonka instead.

Why the heck does everyone get to see it before me? All my foreign friends have seen it, apart from me. It's not coming to Norway before mid-September, arght. I'm so excited about that movie! And no matter what you say about Johnny's acting skills, I'll always love him! ;D

i couldn't agree with your review MORE! i feel exactly the same way about wonka. i think gene wilder did a much better job and the oompa loompa songs were way to weird. i loved the charlie in this one better but i really felt almost uncomfortable watching depp as wonka, it was like a car accident. his teeth were odd...

I really liked the movie, but I'll talk about that more in The Email, because you mentioned it there too.

I sing in the car. Really really loudly. And dance. But then again, I'm on country back roads most of the time, so maybe my subconcious thought that I'm in my own private little bubble is closer to the truth than it is for people in cities. ;D
