Vote Mobs

Starting at the University of Guelph students across Canada have been organizing vote mobs to encourage youth to come out and vote. UBC is doing one today and I'm going to go and join in even though I'm definitely behind on my paper. Good one, dragonette.
I keep telling everyone that if they don't vote they can't complain until the next election.
If you don't vote you're not taking part in the running of our country.
In my riding they're quite public about where the advanced polls are. The slight bitching is that most of the advanced polls are on the long weekend when many people are away.

I think that all of the advanced polls are being held at the same time across the country. So I suppose that's an issue for everyone. Although I kind of enjoy the fact that there is absolutely no consideration about the fact that it's a Christian Holiday (and a Jewish one too!).

One of our lady pose has never voted (which is a shame!) but we've got plans to make sure she goes this year. This may mean that I head to the advanced polls on my own, but I'm not overly concerned about it. There's a band from GC going, but that's while I have to be furiously working on my paper.. so I might go later.
