Woodpigeon! I am always so thrilled when I see people on my flist who know the tiny Canadian indie bands of my heart. I've seen Woodpigeon live a few times (and when I was living Calgary, often saw Mark Hamilton out at shows) and even though I think Hamilton is kind of a douche, goddamn I love his music. This whole mix looks amazing!

I waited until I'd had a chance to listen to the entire thing (computer connection at work is restrictive and time at home far too busy of late), and now that I have, I adore it. So many great songs! I'd never heard anything by Dawn Landes before, but I'll have to seek out more of her work. Thank you so much ♥
