I was given the opportunity to walk my father around the school today. He is disgusted, of course - I do not blame him. This school has many problems. I told him of the boy who was attacked and had 'mudblood' carved into his chest, and he could not believe it. He says things like that are why the school is shutting down. It is very dangerous

How should I take it? I know you want to protect me and I understand your reasoning but that really doesn't make it any less offensive, you know that, right? I mean, yeah, I get it. I'll find some other way to get you a cake we can both eat and make you happy before you leave, it's fine.
