Echo Bazaar: Sparring Match

When one wishes to test one’s physical skills against another, the Club provides a room with a ring and some weapons, so citizens of the Neath need not resort to the back alleys of Wolfstack Docks. One can sign up to reserve the ring for a one-on-one bout.

Right now, the ring has been reserved for Asher and Bartholomaew.

"Thank you." Bar takes the wrapping, and takes off his own shirt. He moves his shoulder in circles as he warms up, and cracks his neck.

He looks around, having never been here before, "This is a nice ring. Have you fought here a lot? Are there any special rules?"

He sits, having already prepared himself before coming, and starts wrapping his hands.

Asher opens and closes his hands, forcing the material to conform to his hand. "Only a few times. The rules are up to the fighters."

He moves into the ring, a simple concrete square, and turns to face Bar with a grin. "'Ow about street rules - no weapons, and the fight ends when someone gives or can no longer stand."

"Sounds good." Bar makes his way to the proper location in the ring. "And no going easy on each other?" He makes a smirk.

Asher moves into position across from Bar, shifting the weight of his body onto the balls of his feet. He laughs at the larger man's question and replies, "No worries o' that, mate," before swiftly moving in to throw a hook into Bar's left side.
