I wonder if this ficlet belongs in the vampire!au along with the other two!
I feel like Jongin as a human might have had a miserable life since he was so enthusiastic to be turned into a vampire.
Thankfully it did work out for both of them in the end!

I haven't read many fics that deal with a turned human wanting his humanity back after his first meal, so this is a refreshing take for me. I can understand Jongin's distress, and also the slight insecurity from Lu Han at the possibility that Jongin might leave him once he'd completely transformed. But it's a good thing they were able to work things out and stay together [even if it might have taken them a century or two, I imagine, but hey; what's time to vampires anyway?].
