After the fallout, maybe she will go back to sleeping like normal people-in their beds, at night, not in second period English or at 4 pm while on stakeout.  Maybe then things will go back to normal

I only found your VM fic this evening, and I just want to say its impossibly addictive and lovely. I love the calm serenity in all of your stuff, especially this one -- after the fallout -- and Reunion. You've got amazing insight into the way broken (wounded?) people put their lives back together and carefully protect the shattered parts, kind of like a fine china tea cup that's been restored, its still fragile, but stronger in places than before. (Not sure it that makes sense, but its late and I've been reading for more than an hour.)

Your writing is so strong and clear, its as if I can feel the characters breathing. I'm really glad Weevil got his act together and became an attorney. So appropriate - yeah for public defenders! Thank you for sharing.
