made us disconnected
social network (mark/eduardo)
562 words. this began here when I asked for prompts for the three-sentence meme, and aurora_84 gave me, "mark/eduardo, atlas." this is an extended scene that takes place in the 'verse created by that prompt - where mark leaves facebook for eduardo, before the dilution. (and they run away together!)

This made me smile. It reminds me of those stories and old movies where they defy their parents and marry young and try to make go of being together against the world.

thanks! that's is pretty much exactly what they are doing, ha! though eventually I suppose they will have to go back and deal with all of their shit.

Ahhh this is lovely! I'm looking forward to the actual fic omg MARK AND EDUARDO RUNNING AWAY TOGETHER. MARK ACTUALLY GOING TO SEE EDUARDO INSTEAD OF DILUTING HIS SHARES. IT'S EVERYTHING I'VE WANTED TO READ .

thank you so much! I'm not sure whether or not the long version of this will eventually get written, so, uh. I'M SORRY IF IT DOESN'T. JUST KNOW THAT IT ENDS WITH THEM BEING HAPPY.

Oh, this is lovely. I loved the tone you created. Despite their closeness, physical and on some levels emotionally, there is still this sense of distant and disconect between Mark and Eduardo. Because of this balance you struck, their relationship felt so fragile - in fact this whole scene felt fragile, as if one wrong word could shatter everything.

thank you so much! I love the idea of them being really, really in love, but neither of them are certain of the other, and they still know that they'd rather be together than not. I'm so glad you like the balance of the relationship, here!
