HAHAHAHAHAHAHA OMG. ARTHUR IS JUST BEING A GOOD SAMARITAN, STOPPING THOSE GUYS FROM HEXING EAMES SEVEN WAYS FROM SUNDAY, AND NOW EAMES KEEPS TRYING TO BE HIS FRIEND OUT OF SOME MISPLACED SENSE OF HONOR AND ARTHUR IS THOROUGHLY DISGRUNTLED ABOUT THIS CHANGE OF EVENTS.

"Yes," Robert says smugly. "The Firebolt BTX. Not slated for release until next June." He blows lightly on freshly charm-manicured nails and looks up coyly through his long, girly lashes with a smirk. "But my father knows someone who knows someone... You know how that goes."
"I do," Saito says wryly. "Which is why I suppose it's fortunate that I simply bought out Nimbus over the summer, along with the entire Firebolt design team. May I introduce you to the Nimbus Cloud 9?"
He smiles kindly as Fischer stares, dumbstruck, at the beautifully elegant brooms the Ravenclaw team is carrying so casually.
"I find that it pays to supervise everything from the top down," he says with no small amount of satisfaction. "It seems neater that way, no?"

Every morning, Robert receives a letter by owl. His friends think it's from his father, and he prefers to maintain that illusion. In reality, it is from his Uncle Peter, who first summarizes what's going on at the company before rambling about his grandchildren and then fretting over Robert's wellbeing.
The last paragraph is always the shortest; it is the one he uses to explain that Robert's father is thinking of him and is very proud of his scholastic accomplishments. Sometimes, it is one sentence. Sometimes, it's two.
When Robert writes back, he always addresses it to Father; but Uncle Peter is the one who responds.
