Thaaaaank you. :D I love me some Scripps/Lockwood. I'm always that one with the odd favorite pairing that no one writes, ahahahaha.

Aww, this is lovely. The chris-crossing chronology makes for a really interesting read too.

MADDY

Instead of sleeping I am writing you livejournal comments.

Maddy the pacing in this is excellent. How much time did you spend deciding what order the scenes should be in? Because if this is just ~how it happened, then I hate you. But the opening scene is spot-on for setting the mood, and I love that until scene, like, five or something, it for all intents and purposes reads like a very subtextual friendship.

Lockwood has a one glass and a mug!

I love all of them getting drunk together so much! I can hear Scripps enunciating drunkenly in my head and it's fabulous.

I love that Lockwood's handwriting is so neat, I think it's really fitting. Like, idk, Lockwood has to work really hard for nice things so when he makes things he makes them nice. I make sense, I promise.

I love Scripps wordvomiting "I really fucking missed you" and the subsequent angst. Mmmm angst.

and then and then and then MADDY, Scripps waaaaaaaaaaits for Lockwood and he comes BACK FOR GOOD and they live happily ever after!!!!!

OKAY I'M LATE AND JUST GETTING TO THIS SORRY THAT I SUCK AT ANSWERING COMMENTS, WTF. BUT I AM GLAD THAT YOU LIKE IT, BECS.

I'm also glad the pacing is okay - I wrote it through once, realized there were a few missing scenes, and went back and added them, basically. But I didn't actually switch around the order of any scenes, and the ones I added are mostly at the end, so. There's that. I dunno?

dlkfhjglkfjh you picked out the exact details I actually like to comment on, you know that? You are my favorite. ♥

I'M SO SAPPY, OKAY, THERE IS NO WAY THAT SCRIPPS WOULDN'T WAIT FOR LOCKWOOD BECAUSE THEY ARE IN LOOOOOVE AND THEY NEED EACH OTHER AND THIS IS ME, OKAY?

MADDY YOU SUCK AT ANSWERING PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING EXCEPT FOR TEXT MESSAGES, SO I FORGIVE YOU. ALSO I DON'T HOLD IT AGAINST YOU, SO NO WORRIES.

I LOVE SAP ksjhfkjsdh

So I was absolutely desperate for something to read, and was scanning back over the comm, and I came across this fix again, which I had avoided before because of the pairing (sorry!).

So here I am, thinking that if I don't read some new HB stuff I'll scream, and so I go pairing be damned! And I begin to read...

And bugger me if you haven't converted me!!!! This fic is full of win!!! How gorgeous! I especially love the exchange about the pain between Scripps and Posner (perhaps because I will always be a Scripps/Posner fan at heart). But I truly loved this. Thank you!

I understand passing over stuff when the pairing doesn't interest you! I'm glad that you gave it a chance, though, thank you! I'm glad that you ended up enjoying it. I couldn't take out all of the Scripps/Posner interaction, because their friendship is one of the most compelling in the play/movie. I love them a lot. I just ship Scripps/Lockwood more, ahahahahaha.
