Besides my enjoyment of this story for what it is - a really great story - it helped put in reference a friend of mine. They too turn off the world - don't check voice mail, ignore email, no calls out, ignores you knocking on the door and the frustration it causes in everyone around them is very hard. That part of your story was very real for me and I wanted you to know that I appreciate you effort to show how hard it is on the other side. Thank you.
