With no other outlets for creativity, I find myself here.

What goes on?

The other add me communities for adults haven't had entries for years.

Perhaps this type of forum is drying up.

The same with writing letters. (Stamps are still cheap, you know.)

I am an adult and, thus, prefer other adults, as well.

So, what have you?

I don't know what to call ( Read more... )

Yeah, I was beginning to wonder where all the active English speaking users are. Other blogging sites seem just as dead.

Have you been here before or why did you choose livejournal? I thought no one new about this place apart from the ones who still hold on to it.

I always thought of LJ as a graveyard, suddenly some people stopped talking at 2011, or so. Found it interesting to think what happened to them. I turned an adult last month, been using LJ as a source of intellectual entertainment, some of the people here have the most coolest ideas. Fodder for leftists too. In fact I chose my political stance after being educated by the people here. I like your writing, I hope you like mine.

I think the original generation of LJ users grew up and left the platform around 2011. I was one of them. And by then other platforms were just virgining where you could do more than just simply blog, like FB. That's my take.

Hi!

I keep thinking about resuming writing letters, only stamps arent so cheap anymore.

I've added you, always nice to connect with more people.

Don't kid yourself: stamps ARE cheap! To get a letter anywhere in the country including Alaska and Hawaii (and I know no one thereabouts anymore, sadly), think of how it could be so much worse.

Typewriters are still my preferred form of communication, though rarely do I write letters. I think I’ve found my niche using a manual typewriter to update my blog with stories. #typewriter
