I am studying german too (this is my second semester), and I will probably study in a Germany University for the next semester/year. Your journal sounds interesting (the mix of english plus the random bits in german) because I am here mostly to improve my english but of course any helps with my german skills would be very welcome. We also share a few interests (I love leaning new languages and I read a lot). I am a visual arts student but I hope that does not pose a problem.

Friends? =)

I am a fellow learner of German. I'm really not that bad at it, mostly because I have found and befriended/enslaved several native speakers after I became close with a German exchange student at my school last year...

I sometimes write entries entirely in German. I can't claim that they are perfect, but you might be able to pick up something (or learn from my mistakes!).

You like linguistics?
<3 linguistics. It's what I want to major in next year.

So, if you want to, add me. =D

I'm originally from Boston and Germany (also Austria and Switzerland) appeal(s) to me because I just love European life in general much better than American life. The recycling, the paying for grocery bags, the environment, the atmosphere, everything. I've been a few times so I feel pretty safe saying that. I also just love the German language because of the way it sounds, the harshness is very appealing to me for some reason. I also really like umlauts? I am strange, I guess.

I will add you!
