Character obsession you say?? Ha, I'm in the same boat. I've dedicated a lot of my time to my chickeny punk-rock character. My journal is mostly about him.

I've only just gotten back into writing fiction (after a long bout of writer's block) and, like you, I'm in love with my two main characters! I'm currently putting my writing on hold because I want to read up on "How-to" write properly, since I never learned very well and perfect my technique and characters. I don't get to blog about it much because my flist mostly write fanfic (which I never understood or got into) and seem to be tired of me mentioning "my novel"

Aww, well poo on your friends list for being tired of you talking about your novel! ): I love hearing about how people approach the writing process, especially how it pertains to developing characters, so I totally understand the need to talk it out. Something tells me we would get along. :3

I love to rant about writers block, as it is my mortal enemy and must be vanquished at all costs. I also have a set of characters I've been meaning to weave a story around, though it is locked up inthe tower of my brain like Rapunzel.

I agree, writer's block must be slain! And since I believe the best way to go about doing that is to talk it out and work through said writer's block with another person, I'd love to have you as a friend. :3
