I just got a letter by the Clarion Fund containing a dvd movie titled: "Obsession Radical Islam's War Against The West." Besides describing "The most important issue facing us today." The nation here is pretty much split between Mccain and Obama, with constant seesawing among the voters between the two. I'd probably have been too apathetic to vote this year if the same old mish mash of candidates would have been nominated, but since it's Mccain or Obama, I think I'm inclined to vote. Even if it's a teenie step towards my ideologies, at least it's a step.

I'm pretty irritated over the scare tactics regarding Middle Eastern war as well. I consider myself pretty right wing and I feel like all of the principles I value have been abandoned by most of the right to pursue hawkishness.

It doesn't matter if the statement is original or hackneyed, no matter who wins the election, no meaningful efforts will be taken to improve the role of the individual in running of their government.

Maybe just for this election, I wont stay motionless as the pot begins to boil. When I'm disillusioned, I'll look elsewhere for "change".

Which one is it!!? I'm leaning towards Obama I think he is serious about bringing the troops back and helping the middle class, bringing it back to the Clinton years..Besides its a Democrats turn the republicans already fucked up the economy.

I agree, but I wouldn't be surprised if insane Mccain won--hehe--anyways I'm gonna be driven to vote for Obama, I like some of the redistribution policies he mentioned.

I'd vote for Obama myself if I completely believed that he was dedicated to preventing war in the Middle East and withdrawing from Iraq ASAP.
