I don't know how underground or hardcore you'd consider these bands, but my favorite punk bands are: Dead Kennedys, Jello Biafra, Good Riddance, U.S. Bombs, the Adolescents, Global Threat, Destroy Everything, the Lower Class Brats, and Strike Anywhere.
