Very much so! This was probably my favorite love scene I've ever read! In the last chapter's, I was cooing to Aussie over how romantic it was, saying it was so much better than a smut scene, and then you go and pull a stunt like this, making me eat my words. Just amazing.

It wasn't just great sex, it was the emotional intensity -- they both became so vulnerable, especially her. The change was so marked, and she so obviously didn't expect anything like what happened. She's got all these sophisticated walls up all the time, and they all came crashing down, and she just didn't see it coming.

Also, cabin by the lake? Perfect.

Also also -- I loved their conversation in the car. Hilarious.

But my favourite part has got to be the last two lines. I like the image of Laura hunting Bill with not just any gun, it's got to be the biggest gun she can lay her hands on!(LOL)Funny.

At last. Well done, it was worth waiting for.

Oh good! We were a bit concerned, because we didn't want to go full on modern graphic, yet didn't want to end up coy and all fluttering curtains.
