i was thinking the same thing a week ago. I'm taking a Medieval Philosophy class, and his name came up when we were talking about Augustine and the Trinity. I went and bought two books (Bertrand Russell's History of Western Philosophy and Karen Armstrong's History of God) and from what I've read and learned, Plotinus had some good ideas.
