LOL Why do I always feel like I'm always here first!!!!
I'm pretty sure that there isn't a version of Voodoo that isn't great. Love the album version and all the GNT performance.
I will say that personally, the one GNT performance that I attended that stood out was Hampton Beach. Not that his singing or choreography was any different, but out of all the shows I went to, that particular one I had front row, on the Tommy side - next to the bench. When Adam stepped on the bench to sing the part "When you do that voodoo it's all that I can do..." like he always does, he was literally standing above me. I was with maybe77, mirbabe, babyangel9286 & lissybabes. Adam looked down at us, sang that part and I swear we all almost fell over. maybe77 made the statement at that very second that Adam was our Gay Messiah. I mean he was a superior being up there, drawing us into his web. I can't even articulate what was going on in my head at that moment, but it was simply awesome

My thoughts exactly...love Love LOVE this song and every performance of it. But you're right, the masks in New Orleans really gave it that extra oomph.
I'm probably the only fan who isn't that big on Voodoo. I love it lyrically and I adore GN choreography that goes with it but melody wise it never really grew on me as stand alone song.
You're not the only one. While i adore every song he sings with that incredible voice, Voodoo isn't at the top of my list.. although, seeing it on the GN live dvd i have to say it's growing on me.
i wish there were more versions of voodoo to choose from! i'm gonna have to go with the album version haha. :D i adore it, it's my absolute favorite song, and not only do i never skip it, sometimes i even repeat it! <3
