I didn't know there were attended dress rehearsals for Idol. I'd also missed ever hearing No Boundaries until just now.

One thing having the various genre weeks on Idol did was prove that Adam is one of a very tiny number of singers who are that vocally versatile. And the only other one who springs immediately to mind is Bette Midler.

with idol, there's no time to get the live performances recapped that fast in time for the end of the show, so every 'recap' at the end are from rehearsal footage. :D

honestly there have been few people on this show who have so easily adapted to every style thrown at them, and all the ones i can think of ~won. kelly, carrie, fantasia. so. yeah. :)

At the beginning of the season it looked like he was far more relaxed in the rehearsals than on the live show, but the further the season went the more relaxed and comfortable he got for the live shows. It's probably that way for all contestants.
